We consider "user-generated content" to be materials (text, image, or video) voluntarily supplied by our users. This includes saved favorite activities and any custom activities created via the AI Activity Generator. This content is associated with your account.
Log and Device Data
When you access our servers, we may automatically log standard data provided by your device, such as your IP address, device type, and activity within the app. When you encounter errors, we may also collect data about the error and the circumstances surrounding it.
3. How We Use Information
We may collect, hold, use, and disclose information for the following purposes:
- To provide you with our app's core features, such as personalized activity recommendations based on your energy level and your child's age.
- To enable you to access and use our app, associated platforms, and social media channels.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)
Sprout Play is designed for parents and guardians to use with their children, aged 2-12. We take children's privacy very seriously and are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other similar global regulations.
Parent-Controlled Accounts
All accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian (age 18+). Children do not create their own accounts.
No Direct Collection from Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All information about children (such as their age) is entered by the parent or guardian.
Parental Consent
During the onboarding process, you, the parent, provide the necessary information (like your child's age) to tailor the service. By doing so, you consent to our collection and use of this data as described in this policy.
Information We Collect About Children (from Parents)
- Child's Age: We collect a child's age to provide age-appropriate activities. We do not ask for or store a child's name or birthdate.
What We Do NOT Do
- We do NOT serve behavioral advertising to children.
- We do NOT share data about children with third parties for marketing purposes.
- We do NOT make any child-related data publicly available.
Parental Rights
As a parent or guardian, you have the right to review, update, or delete the information you have provided about your child at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

- Third-party service providers that enable us to provide our service, including IT service providers, data storage, hosting and server providers (Supabase, Vercel), payment systems operators (Stripe), email providers (Resend), and AI service providers (Anthropic).
